What flash actually is
An artist draws a set of designs in advance — small motifs, symbols, lettering, animals, plants — and puts them on a sheet. You choose one off the sheet and it gets tattooed as drawn, at the size and placement you want.
The tradition is older than the studios that use it: sheets used to be pinned across the walls, and you picked from what was on the wall that day. Now they mostly live on Instagram, but the idea has not changed.
Why it is the fastest way to walk in
The bottleneck in a walk-in studio is not the tattooing. It is the drawing. A custom piece has to be designed for you, and that takes hours or days — which is why a spontaneous idea often cannot be tattooed the same afternoon.
Flash removes that step entirely. The design already exists, so the only question left is whether a seat is free. That is the difference between "come back next week" and "sit down".
It matters most if you are visiting. A trip gives you hours, not weeks, and nobody comes back from another country for a second appointment.
How it will work here
Once the sheets are up, every design gets its own code. You send us a screenshot, the code comes with it, and we know exactly which piece you mean without a round of "the third one from the left".
From there it is the same as any walk-in: we check the day, confirm a time and give you an estimate before you leave home.
